Phytotherapy — also known as herbalism — refers to using a plant’s seeds, berries, roots, leaves, bark, or flowers for medicinal purposes. Herbal therapies have been used for thousands of years, dating back to at least 3000 B.C., and are widely known for their effectiveness.
Interestingly, most modern medications were originally derived from plants. Chemists studied herbal plants, extracted and altered their active ingredients, and that process is the foundation of what we now call mainstream pharmaceutical medicine. It is estimated that about one-fourth of all pharmaceuticals have their origins in herbs.
According to the World Health Organization, around 80% of people worldwide use herbal preparations as a part of their healthcare. In Germany, 600 to 700 plant-based medicines are available and prescribed by some 70% of physicians.

As our herbs are created in-house by our own Herbal Practitioner, you can be sure you are receiving the highest quality.
